Reverend Lillian Hymes Washington

Reverend Washington, daughter of the late Louise Manigault Hymes and the late Frank Hymes, Sr.,was born on Johns Island, South Carolina.  She received a B.A. degree from Claflin University, Orangeburg, South Carolina, and a Master of Divinity degree from Gammon Theological Seminary of The Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, Georgia.  She also studied at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina.
